See-through Fabric
Issey’s range of See through fabric have 5 important characteristics:

1. Heat Protection It acts as a heat shield reflecting and absorbing heat, stopping it transferring into your home
2. Glare Protection Uncomfortable glare is completely eliminated making areas more visually comfortable
3. Welcome Natural Light You get maximal solar protection while allowing natural light to filter in. Even on the sunniest of days you can protect your home from heat without shutting yourself in the dark.
4. Maintain your View Preserve comfort without obstructing the view
5. UV radiation Protection Protect your home from damaging UV rays that can cause interiors to fade and be harmful to your health.

Did you know?

• Darker colours are easier to see through than lighter colours of the same density
• Lighter colours allow more natural light through
• There seems to be little experiential difference between dark and light colours in regards to heat transfer

General Characteristics

• 5-year manufacturer’s warranty
• Made of polyester yarn with vinyl coating; we find that fibreglass fabric does not last as long in the harsh Australian conditions
• Micro aerations allow air to circulate so hot air can escape instead of building up
• Depending on the application they are used in the fabric will effectively block wind and allow only a fine mist of rain through
• Very Durable: Pre-stretched then coated to ensure long life and making it almost impossible to tear
• Extremely high colourfastness
• Strong protection against UV degradation
• Made from synthetic materials, they have an anti-fungal property - mould and mildew will not build up in the fabric fibres
• Only minimal maintenance and care is required – wash with water and mild detergent several times a year
• Depending on how often the fabric is used and if it is maintained properly it can last up to 15 years
